What is the most important thing a GS can do for their community?

I think the best answer to this question would be that a GS is a player who actually CARES about the people in the game. Dont get me wrong, I'll be the last person to sign up for the 'Be Your Bestie' competition, but I DO give a **** about trying to keep things fair and civilized for EVERYONE in the community. I'm not looking to support an underdog section of the community, or to lick the boots of people who think they are 'uber', I've just spent enough years... Yes YEARS... in this game to want everyone to get a fair shake at having fun and I think I can help with that.

What is the most important thing a GS can do for their community?

In my opinion the best thing a GS can do for the community is to assist in the matters
they can, questions, concerns and be part of the community. I feel it is important for them to assist in directing players to other avenues when there is an issue they can not handle themselves.

I think it is important for them to keep a sense of humor and promote such in the community as well as organise events and host ones the community as a whole will enjoy.

I think they should reflect the company as a well although they are volunteers.
I think they should be active and knowledgable and helpful to all.

The Most important duties of a GS is to maintain a peaceful playing enviorment for players of mulitple culters and ages. Also , to prove answers to question and medate problems among players peaceful. As well as, host server enevts in a Pre-Structured Form, and without complications.

What is the most important thing a GS can do for their community?

First thing, be there when needed, Other than that helping player's out whether in trade, Area or even in one’s own guild, but especially trade. If that calls for answering questions about quests or character builds I will gladly help. one of the things GS's can do is run event like hide and seek or even quiz games, players who win get special prizes. If a fight breaks out a GS is supposed to be there to handle the matter with respect and be a neutral party and to not take sides in any matter.

This game is built to be fun. I would like to help keep it that way.

I think that the most important thing a GS can do for their community is to be available as much as possible and have accurate knowledge of the game and game news. They should make sure people know when they are available when they are on. They should be fair open minded and capable of being neutral third party mediators when necessary.

What is the most important thing a GS can do for their community?

Is it me or does the question get harder?? LOL J/K!! Honestly I dunno if I have exact answer for this. Truth is a GS does many things, and never stops. And so one thing being more important to me seems like a no win question. Your role as GS is to improve game play and the atmosphere for all players (be it advice or tips to GMS, or in game events, or any such things), resolve conflicts (and report violations), answer questions, and have fun (teach others to as well), I can't see any of that being more important then the rest, I'm sorry. I think, like the game, a GS should evolve...maybe that's most important? But as I said, not an easy question for me to answer, but you have an answer atleast...anyway.

I am an active member of the Teos community, AoL. I have been a ranking member of the guild MajestiC for many years, promoting a love for the game, a sense of fair play and knowledge of the game and its rules.

What is the most important thing a GS can do for their community?

Given the myriad things GS's do as a team, and the diversity of those things, this is not an easy question. I feel the most important thing an individual can do for the community is to promote the positive aspects within that community. Good will, informational support, assistance with issues, to act as a medium for elusive GM's, even to promote teamwork within the GS community; all these things are essential. My main interests are within the Shaiya game, mind you, and my answers will carry that flavor. In game events are a beneficial part of the community, encouraging many to come together. Making such events a success requires time and effort (and teamwork). All these things point back to the original statement: The most important thing a GS can do for the community is to help maintain that community and its positive aspects.

What is the most important thing a GS can do for their community?

Firstly, a GS needs to be knowledgeable when it comes to the ToS and rules of Shaiya. I believe being an experienced player is a necessity, especially when it will enable a GS to answer a variety of questions and not just the questions concerning the ToS. It is important for a GS to be someone who is willing to help and someone who is patient. They will be bombarded with questions about anything and everything so being an experienced player would definitely help in that regard.

It would also help to have a smooth tongue when asked to sort out complaints within the game; smothering the fires before they flare.

Most importantly, they would need to be a “leader” of the community, a role model for the new players. Additionally, they would be an “assistant” to the GMs and PMs; offering them advice and feedback where possible regarding Tiers and other promotions and helping with in-game events. GSs are also the GM’s and PM’s eyes and ears within the game, reporting player feedback and ideas spoken within Chats.

A GS should be at least some of these things; fair, reliable, respectful, trustworthy, truthful, virtuous, dependable, courteous, and considerate, among many others.
