Hero Talent

How much does it matter?
I was wondering how important the Talent is for heroes, and wanted to do research before hiring the next one.

Of course, having 1400 defense is better than only 800 Talent. But what happens when you get the defense score on a hero to 1600 in both of these cases? It seems the highest ranked heroes have massive Score compared to Talent (twice as much).

UPDATE: I calculated that heroes get (Talent / 400) free points of stat per level.

Level 0 Hero had this:
Stat 34 - 31 - 34

At Level 7:
Stat 60 - 50 - 54

That is a gain of 26 - 19 - 20 over those 7 levels (no attribute points assigned)
Talent::....... 1524 - 1096 - 1152
Talent/400:: 3.810 - 2.740 - 2.880
Times 7::..... 26.67 - 19.18 - 20.16 ((truncate the results and it works))

Still to come: how in the world do these talents play in to assigning the attribute points?
(They must since a point in strength can make government go up!)

Thanks CogitationS, I didn't bother to scroll through the guide before. You spent quite some time to get all that information together, best of luck with rewards from Aeria.
I just finished calculating the other piece before reading your post.
(the other stats go up by .300 x growth for each point added, and attribute added gets full growth.)

Final Formulas, for those who like them:
Attack = (Level * Atk. Talent / 400) + (Strength * Growth) + (Vitality * Growth *.300) + (Intellect * Growth * .300)
Defense = (Level * Def. Talent / 400) + (Strength * Growth * .300) + (Vitality * Growth) + (Intellect * Growth * .300)
Government = (Level * Gov. Talent / 400) + (Strength * Growth *.300) + (Vitality * Growth *.300) + (Intellect * Growth)

Any partial stat isn't shown, even 60.95 will be shown as 60 on your screen. As CogitationS mentions on the main help document, "1000 points of attack or defense will add a 100% bonus to your unit's fighting capacity numbers." So this partial number doesn't get you much and won't affect battle outcome.

If you make a spreadsheet with this, you can quickly see which hero is better at any level!
