I just came back from a long break from Last Chaos, and I have a level 22 sorcerer with 10k SP saved. My rogue I think is too SP screwed to recover (90 with like 7.5k SP). Anyways I have a few questions:

Have sorcerers gotten beefed up any, or are they still obsolete? How are sorcerers in PVP and PVE? How does their DPS/Evasion/usefulness compare to other classes? I'm trying to decide if I should stick with sorcerer, or start a rogue/go to my nightshadow before I put too much work into the character.

Which route should I go? Elementalist or Specialist? What the the pro's/con's of both?

How much SP do you recommend I save up before power-leveling to 90+? Has SP difficulty been fixed at higher levels, or is it necessary/optimal to get it all before I hit 35? (I'm looking for both fastest and cheapest option for SP)

I may have more questions later, but that's all that comes to mind for now. I quit around the time the Succubus was released, so any useful information about the new P2 pets/other updates would be much appreciated. Trying to catch up with the game.

To start of with how sorcerers are right now these days;
Well im a specialist so will mostly go out of that mind..

Specs is a decent class which means with enough work and heart as u put into it the better it can become, and it really can become an exellent class and also fun to play both in PvE PvP.
(Though keep in mind that PvP is messed up right now so not to fun to eaven try to talk about)
Well in PvE wise we're not the fastest atleast not up untill 122+ eaven tho we now have our new lv50 buffs that helps alot we always gonna be a litle bit slower, not much but a little.
We got decent attack in Demon form atleast with our regular hits and critical rates.
And our knight form got the stone skill ofc as well as good defense that can help u tank mobs.
So depending the situation we can always handle ourself in PvE with some decent armor/wep maybe some suction acc's.
After 122 when u get windy u get a fun skill to deal more dmg with and lvl a tad bit faster if u just dont use reg hit with ur lv50 buffs and pots.
In the higer lvls say 140+ we also do good in the new maps, maybe need there to start invest ur stat points to COnc for more hp/mp to tank higher hits.
But in over all we are good in PvE not the fastest but far from the worst.

If i have to say something PvP wise even if its lame for all classes right now.
We our one of the classes that got a good chance against all opponents since we got 2 forms and + that with our decent HP and evasion.
Though it sucks now at high lvls when many buy and make there HR accs insane so our Eva even if it seams godly high for some..it wont do so then u need to get some good hr urself but ofcourse keep ur eva cause it can save u many times.
So im overall here if u get the right gear we can become awsome id say.

For the SP part. Your lvl 22 with 10k..not bad, can still get more on Treants and perhaps Drakes in Juno from that lvl up to 35..
ALSO i should suggest u to stop abit at lvl60-80 to farm in new Temple Of Forgetfullness if u still need SP after that..its pritty good and many mobs to farm on + some good quest for those lvls in there to get SP of.

Concerning your rogue and your sorc, neither are them are doing bad in SP. There are quests that have SP rewards that will catch you up.The backpack quest (your rogue will get it once it lvls), veteran's quest, and some affinity quests give massive amounts of SP.

I figured my sorcerer was fine SP wise, my question was more about whether a sorcerer is worth my time. Great to know that I can still salvage my rogue though, I'll definitely consider it.

I think I'm leaning towards going with the night shadow though. It's novel, seems more possible than before, and I think it fits my playing style better. It's currently 91 with 1k SP. I just need to make an SP game plan.

Which is better PVP/PVE? Night Shadow, Assassin, or Ranger?

At lvl 122, u need the Meteo Skill book that u can buy from others pritty easy.
After that just go and learn it!

No only Demon get a skill at 122.
Knight will have a skill at 102 that u also need a book to get. Hand Of Darkness.

And at 150+ u will get 2 other skills 1 for demon 1 for knight.
