This event i find very offencive...
Yes, game have pvp but the GM's shouldn't promote it.
Also the compensation one get for deleved/destroyed buildings is very low considering the time it takes to level them up.

then there are active players.

There are lots of abandoned cities you can burn if you don't want to attack anyone but attacking others or removing abandoned cities by burning is a common aspect to the game.
