Try reading - In particular, you should direct your attention at the part of the post where none of this is actually Sony's fault. In fact, I think it was a poor choice by the GMs to make it sound like it was Sony's fault by their choice of a title. There were multiple sites that got compromised, not just Sony.
A more appropriate title would have been "Idiots who use the same username/password on multiple sites are being compromised"

What has happened here is that someone has a database of username/passwords from somewhere (source unknown) and have used it to compromise accounts at Sony again. We have seen something similar here in the past year. Please make sure that you are not using the same username/password combination with different sites. If in doubt, change your password to something unique for each.

It is not a confirmed problem.... but it brings up the same point. Do NOT use the same username and password on multiple sites.

Don't tell them what your other account's are as well. It'll screw up your accounts as well.
