Also agree with it.
As discussed with Paladin, we barely have enough active remaining players left on Server 1.
We can't keep new players and were supposed to have an improved mentoring system and increasing free instance runs based on how many apprentices a mentor had (so that a mentor could actually run ALL his apprentices instead of 1-2 a day without hindering their own leveling progress)
Our high level players are thinning out as many quit out of boredom or frustration of broken game mechanics/bad balancing/lack of competition.
Poor leveling progression and equipment refining rates leave people quitting before they even reach 50 or failing to refine +9s even with hundreds of $'s spent on DG to "increase" success rates. This "ninja nerf" to refining has been discussed quite frequently on the dc.gamedp.com forums.
Even with their lowered rates, at least gamedp hosts events such as
http://dc.gamedp.com/announcement/09212011/dp4s5n684g.shtml
The divine daily spin has been nerfed yet again to give gold or exp out 90% of the time and lowered the rates of ever getting anything else such as gems, scrolls, etc..
The Hit/dodge nerf that made it revolve solely around differentials in levels has killed any sort of interguild pvp in wars due to there being no point or chance for a guild to win should the opposing side have a player 10lvls or higher than the other guild.
With opening another server and not addressing the current issues that are causing your paying and non paying playerbase to continue to dwindle and quit, you will continue to escalate the problems at hand and eventually resort to having to shut down the game due to lack of revenue offsetting the overhead costs.
The players have been asking and asking, speaking their thoughts, trying to make the game a better place to play, and anything else they can to voice their feelings about where the game is headed. However, nothing seems to be being done and the problems continue to stack on top of each other with each new decision that is being made by Aeria or everdream.
We barely have enough players to even be housed on 1 server let alone causing any new players joining the game to begin on the server 2 50% of the time and have part of Server 1 reroll to server 2. In the end you'll simply have 2 empty servers with not enough players and resort to having to discuss hosting Server Merges just like you have in other games like Caesary.
Why not avoid this problem and host a Q&A with your current playerbase, take input from the people paying for the game, the high level players that experienced it all, and replan what the best course of action for this game would be. At the current rate, there will be nothing left for us and slapping on a new server isn't going to serve any purpose in the short or long term.
