After seeing how much fun all of youhave been having after the merge of Atlantis and Pangea, we decided to spreadthe wealth and merge Ares + Hydra!
The mergewill happen Wednesday July 27th at 9:00 PM PST, and will continueuntil 1:00 AM PST on July 28th.
Below are the logistical details for the Merge, if you have anyquestions we will do our best to answer them. Thanks for all of your support!
HOG Team
1. Data Handling after Merger

1) All your data (fame,Action Points, Heroes, Troops,etc)
Status: Will remain unchanged

2) Gamers’ mines
Status: All will be discarded

3) Gamers’ castles and subcities
Status: Will be replaced as the generate rules. Data of all cities will bekept.

4) Guild

Status: Will remain unchanged


5)
Capitol
Status:All Capitols will be reset.


6) Gamers’ position in guild
Status: Will remain unchanged

7) Heroes in Arena
Status: Return back to their main Castle

Heroes outside and heroes in mines
Status: Return back to castles.


10) Gamers’ position in kingdom & contribution
Status: All will be cleared.

11) Same account
Status:
If one account has two characters in the two servers, the systemwill automatically default to keep the character with the highest fame. (if youwant to keep the lower one ,please contact an in-game GM before
July 6th）

12) Heroes in Capitals
Status: Heroes go back to Main Castle.


3. Character Saving Rules in Merger
The rules contains character preservation rules, an exclusion clause and freestatement. We will modify all the following rules periodically in accordancewith the status of the game.

1) When the servers go through the merger,the following characters’ information will be saved: fame, castles and subcities, buildings level and technology level, remaining resources in allcities, units in cities and units with heroes, all heroes, heroes rank andother relevant information, package capacity and all items in package. (Forguild information saving, see the exclusion clause ) All public functioninformation such as characters mines and capitals will be reset.

2) If one account has two characters inthe two servers, the system will automatically default to keep the characterwith the highest fame.

3) Gamers’ points in all planning serverswill be moved to the merger server after the movement.

4) All players will get a “CastleTeleporter” after Merger.


Exclusion Clause
1) If a gamer has many characters and thesystem doesn’t save the character as the guild leader, the guild will beautomatically disbanded. All members’ guild information in this guild will becleared.

2) If a gamer’s character which is a guildleader is frozen due to violations of Hero of Gaia game rules, and the systemdoesn’t save the character during server merger period. The character’s informationincluding all the other members’ information in this guild will be cleared. Andwe will not restore that for you.

Free Statement
1) Gamers have to comply with Hero of Gaiagamer rules, when we are processing character saving. If your account wereperma frozen during the merger due to violation of game rules, we will notaccept any character reservations application.
2) If these rules contrary to the relevantprovisions of Hero of Gaia, then please follow the Hero of Gaia rules.
3) Gamers accept the above rules, willaccept account terms of Snail Game..


4. Merger FAQ
1)
If my account is frozen, and I change my mind about what account I want…am Iscrewed?
Answer:Though your account is deleted, your character information will remain in thedatabase. So it’ still kept after the merger, and you don’t have to worry!

2) Will the ongoing building, researching or training continueduring server merger?
Answer:The process will stop when the server is closed. And it will continue if theserver is opened.
Nothing will be restarted, they will just be “paused”

3) Will the items, such as VIP cards continue to work during themerger?
Answer: Item function will stop to work when server is closed. And it willcontinue when the server is opened.
Items such as that will not waste any time during the merge itself.

4)
What about all myunits in the Infirmary?
Are they safe?

Answer:Yes. They may get a little lonely without you, but they will be waiting for youto log back in.

5)
Will heroes go tojoint defense be back to castle after merger? If the defender’s information is deletedafter merger, shall the heroes go to joint defense be back to castle ?
Sample 1. If gamer A go to help gamer B, will A’s hero return to castle?
Answer: Yes. A’s hero will be back fromJoint defense.
Sample 1.If gamer A go to help gamer B, and gamer B’s information is deleted,will A’s hero return to castle?
Answer: Yes. A’s hero will be back fromJoint defense.

6) Will friends list will be saved?
What about friends who are deleted or frozen?
Answer: Yes your list will be saved, but players who are deleted or frozen willbe removed.

7) Will the mails be saved?
Answer: We are sorry that you will lose them. If you have any emails withimportant information, we suggest you copy them over to a word document, orscreenshot them (if they are juicy and you may want to blackmail another playerin the future)


Willall the information in INFO be saved?
Answer: That data will all be wiped.

9) Will all information on ranking list be kept?
Answer:Nope, rankings will be repopulated after the merger.

10) All tasks will be saved? (Main tasks)
Answer: Server merger is unrelated to tasks.

11) What should be done, if there are the same name in the savinginformation?
Sample, Gamer A in Titan has a castle named Mayday, while gamer B in Spartaalso has his castle named Mayday.
Answer: Castle name is different from account name and character name. Gamerscan have cities with the same name.

There will be manycastles with no owners and there are also some characters that cannot becontrolled. Will the system automatically delete them after 30 days?
Answer: Yes, any character inactive more than 30days will be deleted accordingto the character deletion rules.

13) If the guild leader was deleted, but we still have the guild,then will the system automatically select a new guild leader for us?
Answer: If the guild leader was deleted, the system will randomly select thegamer with higher fame as the new one.
