In a game called "League of Legends" I play, I often have around 160 ping. However since I installed Eden Eternal, my ping has been in the 250+ and spikes all the way up to 600 occasionally.

I'm pretty sure it's something that installed along with Eden Eternal that caused this, any ideas what it could be?

make sure to allow the game through your firewall and port forward, then try restarting your connection and see if it helps.

go uninstall the akamai downloader. Its adding to your ping. You can find it at c:\program files\common files\akamai\. there should be an uninstaller there, us it to uninstall and your ping should drop back down.
