My smith friend completed my request. I now have a second level 41 shirt, a level 41 skirt, and a level 41 wand. I was quite delighted when they told me that it would cost only 700k--and that they'd throw another level 41 weapon in for free, to make smelts out of. Excellent service, I will say. Too bad I have to wait another three levels before I can wear the armor and another four before I can use the weapon. But I suppose that will give me time to upgrade the things to my desired level of +'s. As it is, my level 41 armor has 7 less defense than my level 36+3 armor. There's no reason to wear higher level armor if it gives you less benefit. So if I cannot upgrade it to a point where it has more defense than my level 36 armor, I will not be wearing it. That would be unfortunate. I'm expecting to enjoy my allunin armor set. Though, personally, I like the looks of the pegacy set best. That's 60-62. Will be a while before I get there.
I met two young mages running around today. Found out they're sisters, both of them just starting out the game together. I bought them their level 10-12 armor sets and some nicely upgraded weapons. They were very happy. It honestly didn't cost me much--only 50k--but I know to them it was a lot of money. Oddly enough, right after leaving them and heading out to the west herb patch, I ran into a pandora's box. Guess what it dropped? 50k.
Right before meeting up with those two, I stumbled upon another young mage. Well, I didn't exactly stumble, and I didn't know she was a mage until later. She was asking questions in trade chat about pet feeding, so I answered. We got a nice discussion going and ended up on each others' friend's lists. Found out she's a college student who's being paid to test out this game. I asked if it was Aeria who was paying her, but she said she didn't remember the company--just the money. I do hope it's Aeria. I hope she gives them good--not to mention necessary--feedback on it. Perhaps she will help convince the Game Masters to try a little harder to get the developers to fix some of the bigger bugs and glitches. Perhaps, perhaps.
