Week 27, Day 1 - More powerleveling rants

Ah, this is annoying me. I looked at the ranks again and saw that my former friend--now turned powerleveler--has gone up three more levels since I last looked.. three days ago! Now, do not misinterpret my annoyance as being jealousy. I actually plan to do the same thing, one day. First, however, I wish to max out all of my active and passive mage and witch skills. Then max out my harvesting and most of my processing skills--those are already close to max anyway. Next will be the smithing skills. Then, I feel that I will be ready to start jumping levels. In this way, I will have a strong character. It's funny (to me anyway) how many of the top-level people are so weak. It used to be odd to find a high level with low-level or no skills. Now this has become the norm, and it's odd to see a high level with maxed out skills. It has been two months since I last fought side by side with my friend in Prokion. Now I am level 33 and she is level 56. At that time, she had few skills above level 3. I can guarantee you that she did not manage to max all of her level 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 32, 38, 44, and 50 skills. And yet, she is still climbing in levels. It makes me wonder.. what's the point of having a high level if you're not strong enough to fight things that are white to you, or even green or blue? It ruins the character. Looking at my former friend sitting there in the marketplace on her level 31 horse with no skills, no upgraded armor or weapons, and very little money just makes me shake my head. I can't understand the mentality of one who is so.. power-hungry.
