From my perch in the branches of a large oak I spotted Dumah's cloaked figure moving in the direction of a clearing in the forest.

"Greetings stranger," I heard him say.

"What brings you to the home of the Nightshade?"

I nearly fell out of the tree when I heard the response of the familiar gruff voice.

"I am Sov, adventurer and warrior. I have heard of the Nightshade from many."

I rolled my eyes. Only from me, you stupid lump of muscle.

"My friend came this way a day ago. She came to find you."

**** right I did, but WHO didn't believe me eh?

"Now I follow her to find you as well. As for what brings me here, I would ask to join you good sir."

Out of the corner of my eye, the shadow that was Scarfingers floated past, moving toward Dumah and Sov in the clearing.

"Greetings Titan," she said softly, her husky youthful voice carrying clearly across the clearing, crossing her daggers and bowing slightly to Sov's hulking mass.

"I hope you have rested since last we hunted together."

Scar had mentioned hunting with a Titan a few days ago but had never mentioned the name. Sov must've persuaded Scar to reveal the location of the Nightshade. It was highly likely that his power and skill in combat impressed her and thus, she trusted him enough to tell him of the guild. I sighed. There were some brains in that thick skull of his after all.

"Tis good to see you again and indeed I would wish to have, but the roads are long and there isn't time enough for rest," Sov replied.

"Not when there are things to smash along the way."

In my mind, I could see the large grin that would be plastered on his face. I sighed again and dropped silently to the ground, slipping out of the shadows of the trees and into the clearing, conveying a spark of mischief in my eyes. Well, to others it would be a mischievous expression, but it was intended as a silent "I told you so" aimed at Sov.

"Sovvvv," I purred and rested my gaze directly into his eyes. Immediately, I read the guilt and silent apology there and I smirked. We both knew I'd already forgiven him the moment I looked into his eyes, but I figured I'd toy with him a bit more to make a point.

"Followed me out hear did ya?"

He grinned and I swore I caught a small sigh of relief coming from him.

"Ha!" he barked.

"Couldn't let you run away on your own now could I? THE Sovulator letting Evelaina go? That will never do." He laughed heartily and I smiled, the last of the tension between us finally broken.

"You two know this Titan?" Dumah asked Scar and I with a hint of surprise in his voice. I couldn't help but think that there was a touch of suspicion mixed in his tone as well. I had a strong feeling that Dumah had a bit of hard feelings aimed towards Rogues, but even more at Titans. It was only his natural Knightly instinct to appear a bit suspicious of the situation.

Sov nodded. "That they do indeed, I met Scar a day ago and Eve... well she can tell ye 'bout that." His gaze flicked over to me for a moment, a questioning look in his eyes. I waved my hand slightly, a movement only he caught, telling him it wasn't important to mention.

"Indeed. This Titan has stood by the side of myself and Evelaina," Scar replied with a slight bow to the guild master and a single nod in the affirmative.

"His mighty strength enabled us to lure many zombies and orcs to our sides and into the path of his fell rage, decimating their ranks quicker than they could be replenished" she said quietly as always, grinning maliciously.

"Would such be asked of me, I would deem it an honour to have him stand by my side again. But I am a tool, a weapon, and a weapon will go where their wielder wills, and that wielder is you, M'Lord Dumah. The call is yours to make."

"Very well, my dear," Dumah replied with a proud smile.

"Since you deem him worthy to join our guild, I shall permit him for I trust your words. You've proved yourself to be a very honourable person, Scar. Your parents would be proud of you, my dear."

He removed his cloak to reveal his well-built form and heavy warnin armour.(Warnin armours are worn only be battle-hardened veteran Knights who possess immense fighting skill, for it takes great skill to fight using this armour). In his sheath was a long sword resonating with divine energy and over his shoulders was a massive shield which could block practically any attack

"Greetings Sov. I am Dumah, Templar Master and Leader of the Nigthshades. You are most welcome to join us for your worthiness has been assured by my dear Scarfingers," Dumah said and offered his hand to Sov.

Sov smiled widely and stepped forward to take the hand offered to him which he shook a little roughly.

"Thank ye kind sir! I am honoured to join ye."

"It is my pleasure to welcome a warrior such as yourself to our family," Dumah replied and withdrew his hand. He then flipped the hood of his cloak back up and retreated back into the forest with Scarfingers following him silently.

Once Scar and Dumah were out of earshot, Sov sighed and moved closer to me with his arms open.

Grinning, I tapped into the closest ley line and jumped upwards out of his reach, landing silently on a low tree branch. I dropped to all fours on the branch and hissed at him jokingly.

"I'm sorry, Evelaina for being such a stupid lump of muscle and not believing a word you say even though you've never been wrong before," I said, trying to imitate his deep voice.

"All righ'! I'm sorry! Sheesh! Cut me some slack righ' now will ye?! I've been runnin' around all o' Iris searching for ye!" he responded in exasperation.

I smiled and hopped down from the branch, wrapping my arms around him loosely, but lovingly.

"Forgiven," I said and rested my forehead on his shoulder, inhaling his familiar and comforting masculine scent.

No other words were exchanged for the time we remained locked in that embrace; nothing needed to be said.
