The Travels of Yousha: Day 5 - The Blood of a Valiant Fighter
Today was quite intertesting. I stayed more to the west of the country, with my fellow Vail. Of course, there were DeathEaters around, but I felt much more comfortable being around those of my own species, to be honest.
I managed to finish a couple of quests I started a few days ago. I couldn't find the **** enemies! But I found these ones and was able to finish the quests. I was competing with some people over a certain monster that only appeared ONE AT A TIME (you can bet THAT was fun). But since I'd gone BACK to do it, I was stronger than most of the players there. The party I was competing with invited me in, but I declined (several times...). I said, "No thanks, guys."
I guess I'm still in the mindset that me working with other people isn't a great idea. Someday, maybe, when it's necessary, but not now. I guess they just recognized my stength and thought I'd make a valuable team member XD I'm flattered, really.
I was able to travel further north today. Fighting more powerful monsters, and NOT dying this time! (Although, I did die ONCE. But I was surrounded, give me a break. -_-) I feel like I'm making pretty good progress. But right now I'm trying to figure out where I can purchase some better armour. I haven't gotten any new stuff since Gliter. I foud some awesome gauntlets and boots while fighting, though. It's the leggings and chest armour I'm having trouble with. A new weapon would be nice, too. I guess I should up my luck some, eh? ;P
I think my goal next day will be to find me some friggin' armour and a weapon. XD Yeah.
I had a pretty exiting doing some quests for a guy in the more northern lab (in the swamp). I had to go out and slaughter some insane archane spiders. Hoo! What a time. I don't know what it was about fighting those things. They weren't REALLY hard, but I felt like...they weren't just creatures. It was almost like they had a sense of self, too. Consciousness. Like it was wrong to be killing them for "specimen research".
...Eh. I'm letting my morale get in the way of my gameplay. -_- Stay focused. Yeah, I probably don't have the time to have pity towards fictional pixilated creatures. *cough* ANYway...
So, I think once I reach level 20 or so, I'll jump into the warzone and fight the elves and humans. That'll be interesting. I have no idea if it's just an empty room where you fight the enemy one on one, or if it's a landscape you can use to your advantage. So exciting! We'll see.
That's enough musing for now. Until next time,
