Week 36, Day 3

I attempted to upgrade one of my level 41 wands tonight. It's +6. I want to make a +10. I tried two HS, both failed and "did nothing." I'm glad I didn't lose or downgrade the wand, but I am still disappointed that it didn't upgrade any either. I have another +3 wand of the same type, I've started wondering if I'd be better off upgrading it with HS and just save my +6 wand in case I make it to level 37 (the level at which I get the 41 weapon set) before I manage to make a +10.

I have about 10mil to blow on these wands right now. Will get more. I have my 40-42+4 armor already and have set aside 24mil for buying a 41+10 staff. From now until level 39, everything will be put into making myself a 41+10 wand. In the past, I haven't had much luck with HS, but I'm hoping that will change. I would buy a 41+10 wand, but none exist. There aren't many witches out there--and especially not witches with the funds to make good weapons for themselves. So I must make my own.

I make a +6 wand yesterday with just smelts. Felt so awesome to see that "Upgrade successful." message six times in a row. Unfortunately, it was just a level 5 wand. Wish I had enough guts to try doing that with my level 41 wands! :P
