The Travels of Yousha: Day 3 - The Good Samaritan
I've been spending far too much time to the east. That's mostly DeathEater territory. I know more about the DeathEater's culture and history than I do about the Vail's! So, I decided to travel west, back home. Wow, that sounds familiar. Only this time I'm not lost. Well, in a way maybe I am. I've lost sight of the Vail's culture. Kind of metaphorical, isn't it?
Today was more training, quests and money. I finally had enough money, and was strong enough, to get the next armour up from the stuff I had. I got a sweet weapon, too. Found it on the ground! After killing a boar. What are the chances, eh?
I decided to be social today, and actually talked with a few of the other players. And thus, my inner eccenctric was freed (unfortunately). No, we had a good conversation about how many girls play MMORPGs. Fun. I made a joke about how when you fall off mountains you don't get hurt. XD
But, as much as I enjoyed chatting with people, it didn't seem right, somehow. I think, from hereonin, I'll keep to myself. It seems more...me. Again, I'm going solo, so even associating with other people can kind of soil that notion.
However, despite me going it out alone, I'm not going to become entirely cold. People may see me as that with my unwillingness to participate in group activities, but today...I was a hero in someone's eyes.
There was another of my kind, a Vail, struggling with two wild wolves. I could have taken them easily, but he was a lower level than I and was near-death. So, wordlessly, I stepped in and helped him out. While I pissed off the wolves enough to have them direct their attacks on me, the other guy was able to heal himself. Wolves defeated, I left him. He thanked me, but as I ran into the sunset (not really, but I feel like being poetic right now), I didn't look back.
So I guess now I'm a virtually nameless good samaritan. Eh. I do what I can.
Anyway, until next time,
